Welcome. I'll stop there; no long and awkward welcoming note -- it's too much of a cliché.
The only thing that I want to convey in this opening note is my personal hope for every one of us to get along with each other and be friends. It's a long semester ahead of us, so let's fill it with enthusiasm and chemistry among us!
